RCG Team

The working group in the Granada Cancer Registry is made up of 12 professionals from the Andalusian School of Public Health (EASP), with wide working experience in Cancer Registries and training in different areas of expertise: Public Health, Oncology, Cancer Epidemiology, Research Methodology, Statistics and Information Systems.

This group includes professionals involved in updating, maintaining and operating the registry database, and others devoted to research, funded mostly by the CIBER in Epidemiology and Public Health (CIBERESP) and other research projects.

The team has a lot of experience coordinating and participating in multicentric regional, national and international research projects, mainly related to cancer etiology, as well as cancer patients’ care and survival.

On the other hand, the GCR’s attachment to the Andalusian School of Public Health since its inception has promoted the integration of the registry staff into the activities developed by the EASP: teaching, research, consultancy and participation in committees and working groups.
